This Round Beetle- Discomorpha variegata was originally created for my art exhibition Abstract Pattern in 2022. I used slightly darker colors than the inspiration to make it bolder. The tortoise (round) beetle Discomorpha variegata is native to the Caribbean and northern South America, including French Guiana, Guyana, and Suriname.
