​Nature is amazing!

​ I create artwork that shows the beauty of animals by taking a close look at part of their coloring and design without identifying it as an animal. Viewers will see the beauty without knowing its origin or be swayed by preconceived thoughts. ​The purpose is to show how amazing and detailed the world around us is though we hardly notice it!

Caterpillar- Apopestes spectrum Moth

​Inspired by the intricate patterns found in nature, this piece transforms a single section of a caterpillar into flowing color and abstract texture. Originally part of my Abstract Pattern exhibition, it was featured in the
Smithsonian Community Committee Art Exhibition, “Artists at Work,” at the Smithsonian Institution’s
​S. Dillon Ripley Center (2024–2025).
