Artist Statement

Nature is amazing! I’m working on a series that shows the beauty of insects (and other animals) but not by just drawing bugs. I take a close look at only part of their coloring and design without identifying it as an actual animal.

​Viewers will be able to see the beauty without knowing its origin and not be swayed by preconceived thoughts about the animals. The purpose is to show the viewer how amazing and detailed the world around us is though we hardly notice it.
